This is one of three versions to register on Billboard’s weekly top-10 juke box charts (see also Tex Beneke and Bing Crosby). Arthur Schwartz and Leo Robin wrote this tune plus “A Rainy Night In Rio” and “Oh, But I Do” for the Warner Brothers musical “The Time, The Place, And The Girl.” Other Mercer hits in this 1947 collection include “Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah” “Huggin’ And Chalkin’” and “Sugar Blues.”
