HEY GIRL HEY!

So I am still being flooded with questions on the whole no oils and butters trend and.. I wanted to clarify where I am with my natural hair journey. I think there is a lot of pros and cons that came out of that movement (which I would gladly make a video on if you are interested) but I also think it may have been introduced to the public too soon.

The damages we are seeing now came on gradually but also, this method may not be for you if your goal is to retain length (which is a big thing in our community, let's face it). I personally haven't seen any dramatic changes when it comes to length retention with women who follows this method to the T.

Personally I have been doing what I think is best for my hair and my lifestyle right now, and for me it is protective styles. Happy to answer any additional questions in the comments.
