This is NOT real footage. This is my #7 kill compilation of gun camera footage. It was recorded on a game called IL2 Sturmovik Cliffs of Dover Blitz / Desert Wings and old film effects were added! In this footage, we have both allies and axis aircraft.
Gun cameras, also known as guncam or gun cam, are a special type of cameras mounted on aircraft and used primarily to help measure tactical effectiveness and were commonly used on operational aircraft to record air kills. These cameras are triggered to start filming by the firing of a weapon, hence the name. ▼
