The Steve Stevens SSC Knaggs guitars are loaded with Bare Knuckle pickups w a 3 way toggle switch. #bareknucklepickups - And the Larry Mitchell Svern guitar are loaded with DiMarzio Area 67 Single Coil pickups and a DiMarzio Satch Track HB hum-bucker pickup w a 5 way switch. #DiMarzio . All the Knaggs guitars are set up with Ernie Ball Strings.

In the recording... I used the Blue SSC for Rhythm guitar chord parts in one side with the Severn tracking the rhythm guitar parts in the other side. I tracked the guitar solo parts with the Severn and used the Aged Scotch SSC for harmony leads and a section of the lead guitar solo.

For the song demo I am playing through just a Fender Mustang Micro Headphone Amp directly into a Scarlett USB interface right into my laptop running Logic Pro... And I was able to easily dial in good lead gain sounds for the guitar solo lead and all rhythm guitar tracks. I love the gain and attack of this tiny amp especially for lead tones. I think this amp performs well for its price... Especially when compared to other amp modelers and distortion pedals and overdrive pedals including more expensive boutique floor modelers, overdrives and distortion pedals. And is really surprisingly pro sounding for recording!
