Alarmingly, the White House and Biden gave contradictory answers when asked whether Biden saw a doctor after the debate. The White House press secretary stated he did not, while Biden claimed just a few hours later that he did.
Now, Team Biden is scrambling to provide new opportunities for the president to prove himself.
Questions about Biden’s physical stamina for a vigorous campaign and his ability to do the job if re-elected have been repeatedly raised over the past seven days, with no satisfying answers forthcoming.

This high-stakes chat with Stephanopoulos could help ease, but not stop, the calls for Biden to step down. It could also potentially end his hopes for a second term altogether.
