Dr. Atif Rahman, of the South Asia Hub for Advocacy, Research, and Education in Mental Health (SHARE), explains how a NIMH-funded project is recruiting and training mothers to help each other cope with depression. One in five women of child-bearing age are affected by mild-to-moderate depression, making it a significant public health problem in a region lacking adequate mental health services.
