Join me on the first leg of my spring 2024 road trip as I explore downtown Mount Airy, North Carolina, Andy Griffith's hometown and the inspiration for Mayberry in the still popular Andy Griffith Show. We'll take a leisurely walk down Main Street where we'll see the Snappy Lunch Diner, Floyd's Barbershop, the Historic Earle Theatre, as well as many other sights and sounds of the city which has become in many ways, not just Andy Griffith's hometown, but America's hometown as well.
