NOTE: All countries data in the video refers to modern day borders
Inflation...a topic that is pretty popular these days...yeah, that´s that. In today´s video, we´re going to be looking at which countries had the highest inflation since the XX century. Overall, inflation has been decreasing in most countries, aswell as getting more stable. Most latinamerican countries seem to have suffered higher inflation levels compared to other countries. We can also appreciate some of the highest hyperinflations in history, like the hyperinflations of Germany (Weimar Republic), Hungary, Zimbabwe and Venezuela.

Argentina: the period between 2014 - 2016 isn´t available at IMF and WB, so I had to extract the values from different sources:
2014: Baja el IPC en diciembre en Argentina. (n.d.). datosmacro.com. [ Ссылка ]
2015 - 2016: I don´t remember, I´m putting the source when I remember
The data from this period might be wrong, since I didn´t use a single source to fill both 3 years (It also doesn´t help that I forgot which sources I used for 2015 - 2016).

Hi there! My name is Ian, welcome to my channel! Here you will find mostly graph videos, but I´m probably going to make other content in the future. My objective with this channel is to educate people in different topics that I found interesting, using various databases, like the World Bank, IMF, UN, IHME, amongst others. As I mentioned before, I will make different types of videos in the future, but for now, it´s only going to be graph and data visualization videos. Most of my graphs will cover topics such as economics, demographics and health.
If you like this video, I invite you to subscribe, it´s free, and you can always unsub if you want.
