Requirements of what we are making today are An Apple, a kitchen knife & a pointed knife, a toothpick and two black peppers.

We have to cut the apple in two parts, the first part of the apple should be larger than another one. We start carving on the larger part of the apple. Leave approximately one inch at the center of the larger apple part and start cutting at the right side of the apple upside down (cut not to be touched at the bottom) then, a horizontal cut. Take out the apple piece and again from the center, cut as shown in the video (in ‘V’ shape). We have to make four (04) ‘V’s and arrange as shown in the video. Again, follow the same steps for the left side of the larger piece.

The next step is we have to make head of the swan:- take the smaller piece and cut a slice and again cut into two equal parts keep aside a part and cut after leaving approximately a centimeter at 45 degree to make peak of swan then cut ‘S’ like shape to make head of swan further we have to cut it from the center and keep aside the down part, take the head of swan and poke on the peak from front and back and insert both the black peppers in the poked area to make eye of the swan. Now measure it at the top of a larger apple piece, and make a square hole (same as the head) and fix the head in it.

Then further, we are going to make tail of swan, for that take the remaining apple which was kept aside earlier, cut in slant from both sides which should be one inch wide, and measure two centers at equal distance and start making ‘V’ shaper cuts minimum three and arrange as per video. Then, take a toothpick and break it into two equal parts and insert at the bottom of the first piece (larger part) of the apple and fix the tail.

Now, the final touches arrange all the pieces and we will get our apple swan ready…
