To open a bank account in Germany as a resident, non resident or student, you need the following:
1) Application form
2) valid EU passport or German residency papers
3) proof of address or registration
4) Income statement
Having all of these documents ready to go will make the whole process a lot easier and will show you how.
If you don't have one or several of these documents, you can still open a German bank account and I’ll also explain how to do that for each situation.
