This relatively quick procedure involved cleansing the affected area, numbing with anaesthesia and incising it with a 15 blade. Iris scissors were then used to undermine the cyst and loosen the connective tissue. Once removed, the treated area was closed with 4-0 Vicryl sutures, which were removed after 2 weeks.
