I tried out a new thumbnail style with me on it for this video, I'm interested to see if there is any noticeable difference in click-through. Some advice I've heard is that when you're under 10k subscribers, you should keep your face off of the thumbnails because no one knows who you are in the first place so it wouldn't help with click-through. When I had like 1-2k subscribers I put my face in every thumbnail and the one time I didn't put it on there, I had my first video really blow up so I've gone without ever sense. To be honest, the main reason I tried this was because I watched a tutorial on how to edit photos for YouTube thumbnails and I wanted to try it out haha.
UPDATE: it did not perform well so I swapped it LOL
