The Halo Vision is compiled of the Centrum Core, wrapped with the e-Trax H19 Hybrid Reactive Coverstock. This combination creates a similar motion to the original Halo, however due to the hybrid cover stock, the Halo Vision will travel down the lanes a few more feet before hooking towards the headpin. The Halo Vision will gain traction a couple feet sooner than the Halo Pearl, thus bridging the gap between the Halo and Halo Pearl.
I can see myself utilizing the Halo Vision most on a fresh typical house shot condition. The Halo Vision blends the wet/dry condition on the fresh due to the hybrid coverstock. The cover is strong enough that it digs in the oil and has enough pop on the backend to continue through the pins with the proper angle. The cover also is quick enough to pick up and recover when it is thrown to the right into the friction. The Halo Vision retains enough energy to hook back and roll through the pins with the proper entry angle.
The Halo Vision will come into play on medium to longer sport pattern conditions, in my opinion as the second ball out of your bag. The Halo Vision tends to be a little jumpy when the lane conditions are a little flatter with less margin for error. I can see the Halo Vision coming into play after utilizing a Crux Prime, or Halo (solid).
