I made this shortly after Concorde had made her farewell tour around Britain. The early images are of her approaching Cardiff Airport from the west; and later departing into the west rather than over the Bristol Channel, which had been expected. A few months later I went over to Bristol to see her last ever landing at Filton. I was surrounded by people who had worked on her and the emotion was tangible. The weather was quite blustery but the occasion was quite unforgettable.
The huge crowd gave her a right Royal welcome back to the airport of her 'birth'. Magical day, but also very sad for all of us.
My choice of music might not seem obvious at first, but I think it goes really well.
Once again, I am not attempting to defeat copyright in respect of the music or the few photos by the RAF towards the end, This is just for your entertainment and not for public showing.
