SPOILERS FOR CHAPTER 123-4 of Heaven Official's Blessing (Black Water Arc) (seriously don't watch this if you want to read it o_o)

This video was born out of 1) extreme angsting over the Black Water arc of the HOB/TGCF novel 2) A desire to practice using the puppet tool in AE. 3) Practice MMV FX again..

I love Shi Qingxuan so so much, he's one of my top 5 characters in HOB. I'm nearing the end of the novel right now and that's still the case :') . The Black Water arc really had an impact on me, and this part of "Heavy in your arms" by Florence is so so perfect for Shi Qingxuan - He Xuan angst. The way the arc unfolded was honestly masterful.

I don't really ship them so I wanted to keep that possibility out of the video. But, there are signs that he definitely doesn't hate Shi Qingxuan as much as he wants to - and I acknowledge that :D

This was really fun to put together bit by bit, I'd animate one thing every night and slowly put it together. I wish I had more sources to use, and that the manhua had more, but oh well - I used what I could, for now. One day the donghua/manhua will get there lmao.
