Born and raised in Los Angeles, Robby Krieger began to teach himself guitar when he was a boarding student at Menlo School in Menlo Park, California. In the mid 1960's, Krieger learned how to play Flamenco Guitar from scholar Frank Chin and would go on to learn the styles of folk, blues and jazz.
In 1965 Krieger became a member of The Doors and went on to write and co-write many of The Doors songs including "Light My Fire", "Love Me Two Times", and "Love Her Madly."
On day three of Winter NAMM, Robby stopped by the Gibson Artist Lounge to talk guitars with Mark Agnesi.
