Delhi Police on Monday recovered more human remains, mostly fragments of bones, as it carried out further searches in its investigation into the Shraddha murder case.
Investigators found the lower part of the skull, or the jaw, during the search. Along with this, three other fragments of bones were also unearthed.
All the bones were found in the same spot and, according to preliminary examination, appear to be of human origin. The newly gathered evidence will be sent for forensics.
