Hello and welcome back to another didimitten video. Today I wanted to talk about the importance of having a UVB light for your little turtle.
I address calcium absorption and the production of vitamin D and also the effects of phosphorous in the turtle and how this all ties with the need for UVB light rays. I also touch upon metabolic bone disease and soft shell.
I am in the middle of a big move so Mr Turtles tank isn't as pretty as usual but as soon as I settle into our new home, Mr Turtle will be getting all of his luxuries back like his river rocks and such.
