Everything about a mill is fascinating. The chants of the river that runs by it, the strength of water powering the machines that turn freshly-sheared wool into balls of yarn, the many ways in which it provides for the community.
But despite all these virtues, there are fewer and fewer mills left in activity, even in the most rural part of Romania. But for this miller from the Maramures region, there is no question of ever letting it go.
