Cancer is one of the main causes of death worldwide. Globally, nearly 1 in 6 deaths is due to this disease and the number of cancer cases is growing. Developing countries bear the brunt of the cancer crisis.
Nuclear techniques can help with the diagnosis and treatment of the disease. But access to these techniques is still limited in many countries.
