On July 5, some netizens posted videos showing suspected tornadoes in Dongming County, Heze City, Shandong Province. A large number of strong convective cells triggered by a cold front in the southern North China Plain triggered many tornadoes.
It has been confirmed that tornado reports have been reported in Dongming, Juancheng, Yuncheng and other places (tornadoes from Dongming to Juancheng may be (the same), and have caused serious impacts in Dongming and other places. At present, there are still some supercell storms developing in the warm front area from eastern Henan to western and southern Shandong, including Lankao, Dongming, Heze City, Juancheng, Yuncheng, Liangshan, Dongping, and Linyi in southern Shandong are likely to have aftershocks.
