In this video, I show you how to brew a German-style Pilsner. This video covers the recipe, the brew, the fermentation and the final tasting. This is a very different beer from the commonly known Czech Pilsener, but has been bastardized in a way by macro beer. However visiting the style with extra detail can lead to a very tasty and enjoyable result. This light lager is easy drinking and crackery with a nice level of bitterness that keeps it from tasting too generic. Overall this beer was a great success and a great brew, but I found myself wanting a little more hop aroma at the end of the day, and a little softer mouthfeel.
