Boudica, also known as Boadicea, was a legendary queen of the Celtic Iceni tribe in ancient Britain. She rose to prominence after the death of her husband, King Prasutagus, when the Romans sought to strip her people of their lands and rights. Boudica led a fierce rebellion against Roman rule, rallying other tribes to her cause. Despite facing overwhelming odds, she famously sacked several Roman settlements, including Londinium (modern-day London). While her rebellion was ultimately suppressed, Boudica's legacy endures as a symbol of resistance and empowerment.
