In this video we'll take a look at my all time favorite play: George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion.
We'll analyze some of themes and background that should help your first reading of the text be productive and enjoyable. These include the mythological background of the characters, use of humor, critique of class structure, examination of beauty, classification of language, and personal transformation.
While this is only an introduction, I would like to make a full series on this play once other projects wrap up.
