Wildlife such as elk, deer, wild boar and wolves appear to be thriving in the radiation-contaminated Chernobyl exclusion zone after nearly three decades of chronic radiation exposure. According to new reports in the journal Current Biology, scientists found that any harm from the radioactive site is outweighed by the benefit of not having humans around.
