In this tutorial we learn how to import a Genesis 8 skeletal mesh and an animation asset from the Daz Studio into Unreal Engine 5.1 using the Daz to Unreal plugin. Do not mistake this with the previous tutorials: while in the past we were importing the Daz skeletal mesh into Unreal Editor and then retargeting the UE5 Mannequin animations to be suitable for this skeleton using the IK Retargeter included into the Daz To Unreal plugin; but today we are going to export the native Daz animations from the Daz studio and use them inside our Unreal Engine project.
