6 months ago I decided to go ahead and purchase the cheapest model of the MacBook Air with the new M1 chip just to be able to extend my developing capabilities. I wanted to be able to make apps for iPhone, and also have enough power to continue with Machine Learning in Python.

And today I must say that it does it's job very well. It's one of the most affordable MacBooks out there, and even if you can get a much more powerful Windows computer for the same money, this finally opens you up to the world of cross-platform.
