Prior to 1967 in the United States one of the challenges faced by an Interracial couples was being imprisoned for even falling in love & getting married! As an Interracial or mixed race couple traveling Internationally we are faced with new challenges, issues and concerns.

There are still a small pocket of people that for one reason or another believe that people with darker skinned pigmentation should not receive the same level of respect as people with light skinned pigmentation. These people strive to do everything possible to make people with dark skinned pigmentation feel unwelcome at their place of business or place where they are employed.

The majority of people in the countries that we have traveled see our interracial / mixed race relationship as a daily norm & have treated us with dignity & respect. In this video we want to talk about our experiences traveling across several countries South of the Border.
