Lucia Tang is 10 years old. She has been playing piano under the guidance of Dr. Anna Ouspenskaya since 2020. Her favorite way of enjoying music is to let her pieces guide her to peacefulness. Lucia also likes to compose the music for the songs she enjoys singing and sing along while she plays her composed music. She incorporates her rhythm and artistry into her other favorite activities, ballet and rhythmic gymnastics. Recently, she made it to rhythmic gymnastics Nationals, winning 3rd place all around at Level 6. Lucia also loves creative writing. She was the 1st place winner of Kay Snow Awards 2021 with her story “The Coins’ Escape”. Lucia is passionate in all her activities, and piano is becoming one of her top three activities.
Teresa Laiz (Madrid, 1966) Dancer, Teacher, Composer and Castanets Soloist. Director/Founder of the International Castanets Festival. Member of the International Dance Council CID - UNESCO. Orchestra and Band Conducting Studies. Degree in English Philology. Doctoral Courses in Linguistics. Master in Personnel Management. After teaching and performing as a Flamenco dancer, she began her career as a castanets soloist in 2006 composing her own Castanets scores, offering concerts, teaching and writing her own Castanets Method. Discography “Repicando el Alma” (2007). Participation in the Soundtrack of the film The Man Who Killed Don Quixote by Roque Baños, directed by Terry Gilliam 2018.
