The Misses Grant of Monymusk - This Scottish dance, inspired by a 19th-century musical piece, was devised by Mrs Isobel Cramb and her advanced step dance group in 1964 in St. Andrew's.
The First of August - Collected by Mrs MacNab from Hector MacPherson (Lochboisdale) as a solo step dance for men. In this dance you can see the old Gaelic percussive steps given the styling many Scottish dance masters brought back after undertaking ballet training in France.
MacKenzie of Seaforth - Collected by Mrs MacNab from Allan MacDonald (Truro, Nova Scotia). This is a set dance for men in an interesting three sides of a square formation. The dance was collected by Mary Isdale MacNab from Donald Dingus in Kintail, Rosshire and was originally dedicated to Kenneth MacKenzie, Earl of Seaforth in 1771. It was published as a leaflet in 1968 by Mary MacNab's niece Elizabeth Sutorius of San Diego, California.
