Today I explore an abandoned mercury mine operation. There are several cabins and mines on the site that I had the opportunity to check out. The first mine I entered had clear signs of instability. The portal was semi clasped in several places, and further in were much larger collapses near a drift level. Definitely a mine I would never enter again, despite that I still enjoyed having the opportunity to see a mercury mine, to which I had never explored a mercury mine before the filming of this video, so this exploration provided me with a new opportunity to see a mine and commodity type that is an antithesis to my usual, as I generally explore gold, silver, and talc mines.
