Bad Vilbel is a neighboring town/suburb of Frankfurt. Known for its' springs and location on the Nidda river, it has been popular with the Romans and everyone else. The Wasserburg dates originally from the 900s but has been rebuilt twice. They have a lovely Christmas market in the town, as well as plays and concerts in the Wasserburg itself.
Easy to get to with bus #30 from the Konstablerwache or by S-Bahn and Regional trains.
