HURRICANE COCKTAILS (WITH ANDREW)
Chef Brenda of Brenda's French Soul Food restaurant in San Francisco along with Cocktail Maestro Extraordinaire, Andrew Bloom, walks you through how to mix up his quick, easy and super delicious Hurricane Cocktails.
Makes 3-4 Big Ass Cocktails
1 C Guava Nectar (we use Kern’s brand)
1/2 C Passion Fruit Puree
3/4 C Pomegranate Juice
1 C White Rum
6 OZ total of your Favorite Dark Rum, 1.5 Oz per cocktail
Crushed Ice
2 Hurricane Glasses
Fun Garnishes like Orange Slices, Pineapple Slices, Tiki Umbrellas
Method: Mix together guava nectar, passion fruit puree, pomegranate juice and white rum. Fill 2 hurricane glasses with crushed ice and pour cocktail over ice to about 1” from the top. Lightly pour/float 1.5 oz of your favorite rum over the top. Garnish each glass with a slice of each fruit and an umbrella. Cheers!
