In this video, I compare Behringer U-Phoria UM2 and U-Phoria UMC202HD audio interfaces in terms of sound quality.
If you wanna buy the audio interface for recording your instruments but are not sure which of these two models is better for a beginner - this video may help with your choice! :)
Devices I used for the test:
- microphone Fenton SH400 w/ XLR-to-6.3mm adapter
- acoustic guitar Harley Benton HBD120CE BK - high quality
- electric guitar MAX Gigkit - low quality
Note: sound check with your instrument(s) has a benefit :)
FAQ:
1) Why is the narration volume different?
Because I intended to show the difference in the maximal raw audio gain volume; due to this, the main narration sounds louder than from devices. I am going to add subtitles soon to show what I was saying in the test part.
2) I am uncertain about the sound quality after watching this video.
Yes, I am aware that you may think so. What sound you get depends on what instruments you have and how good is their quality. On the other hand, it can also be a difference between my acoustic and electric guitars :D
The narration audio in the introductory, transitioning, and outroductory phases is primarily enhanced by Abode Enhance.
