THIRUKKURAL, A Great Masterpiece in World Literature.

Of the world's languages, the Tamil language is very ancient and few have placed their origin and antiquity correctly.
Tamil literature is vast and varied. Many poems and literary marvels were created 2000 years ago;
Among these literary masterpieces is Thirukkural authored by a great and saintly poet and philosopher named Thiruvalluvar.
The Thirukkural, considered equivalent to the Vedas of the Hindu scriptures, has been widely translated both in Indian and European Languages and is among the oldest literary works of the world.
Researchers have traced the age of this work to 300 BC.

Ullam Thorum Valluvam (UV Foundation), another pet project which aims at spreading and helping people internalize the message of ‘Thirukkural’ verses composed
by the divine poet Thiruvalluvar. His kurals hold moral and practical relevance even today. We have adopted Swami Omkarananda’s methodology of teaching and train
teachers who in turn can teach the students about these Thirukurals.
