LEGO is getting more expensive, and some sets are rising in cost faster than others.
Over a hundred LEGO sets got a price rise at the start of August in the United States, with a similar price hike in Europe coming next month.
71043 Hogwarts Castle went up by the most, with a $70 price increase to an eye-watering $469.99.
The much larger 10294 Titanic actually rose by less, with a $50 hike so that it now costs $679.99.
Other sets that had a $50 price rise include 10273 Haunted House, 76391 Hogwarts Icons Collectors’ Edition, 21330 Home Alone, and 21318 Tree House.
This doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface of the full list of sets that have risen in price – to see the full breakdown, head to the link in the description which will take you to the Brick Fanatics website.
It’s well worth looking at, especially if you’re in Europe and you want to get a sense of how much prices are going to jump up in the near future.
Might need to get some of those Must Have purchases in sooner rather than later.
