Mexican Coffee Bun (Rotiboy / Coffee bun) – Sweet bun with coffee topping and butter filling(Optional -Chocolate Filling) . It’s popular in Malaysia and Asia. So easy to make. Try it and Taste it!!!😄😄

Rotiboy / Mexican Coffee Bun

Ingredients:

FOR THE BUN:

Instant Dry Yeast - 3g
Sugar - 25g
Warm Milk-110 ml
All purpose flour / Bread Flour- 200g
Salt as per taste
Unsalted Butter - 30g(Room Temperature)
Egg - 1/2

TOPPING:

Coffee Powder - 3g
Hot Water - 5 ml
Egg- 1/2
All purpose flour/Bread flour- 40g
Icing Sugar- 35g
Unsalted Butter- 40g (Room Temperature)

Oven Setting:
Preheat Time : 180°C for 15 mins
Baking Time : 180°C for 30 mins

Fillings:
Chocolate
Butter
