My wife and I bought the Level Six: Emperor Drysuits for canyoneering (or canyoning) here in Utah at the first part of 2021.
Other companies make dry-suits, but for this sport in particular, you need something that will be very durable as the last thing you want to happen is a leak while in a slot-canyon in literal ice-cold water. Enter Level Six. They are canadian company and our assumption is that they know what "real cold" is like and *should* know how to stay warm up there. We were not disappointed with our purchase!
While this "review" isn't a very good one and doesn't list all of the pros and cons, as this video was kind of a last minute idea, later down the road, I'd like to put a better review of the dry-suit using video clips from winter trips and us using them in action (we have already done!). It will be awhile before something like that happens though, unfortunately.
Anyway, my wife and I LOVE these drysuits! We have already taken them through a very-cold slot canyon, called Das-Boot in March of 2021 (link at the end of the video) and they worked exceptionally well!
If you are looking for a dry-suit for canyoneering, no look further, this it.
Check out www.levelsix.com for more information and pricing.
PS - We bought these at retail prices in December of 2020. We just endorse and will review products that we REALLY like. We don't take our endorsements lightly, especially as these are over $1000.
