Jason Vargo is an Assistant Scientist working on livable cities within SAGE: Center for Sustainability and the Global Environment within the Nelson Institute here at UW Madison. His work focuses on issues related to urbanization and health, and has examined the influences of the built environment on healthy behaviors among residents of Bogotá, Colombia and the US. He is affiliated with the Global Health Institute at UW.
