Scientists have discovered a new kind of early human from 130,000 years ago at a site in central Israel. The site contains human bones, including ancient human skulls, as well as bones from many animals and stone tools used for fire and slaughter. The new discovery of early humans may provide an answer to the genetic origin of Neanderthals in Europe.
