One of our favorite snorkel spots anywhere!!! Once you put your snorkel gear on and carefully go down the ‘two step’ lava bench into the water, you are immediately greeted by a huge variety of fish and large schools of yellow tangs. Swim out a little further for better clarity. We were even lucky enough to see a green sea turtle (Hawaiian Honu) this time! It is also located next to the sacred Puʻuhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park which holds a very special place in our hearts!
