When these ducklings fell down a storm drain their mother was frantic because she couldn't get to them. Humans and other animals are killed in sewers every year, and it doesn't take much water for a duckling to get swept away. Time was running out.
So PETA alerted the authorities, and the local fire department sprang into action. Soon the ducklings rescued from the sewer were reunited with their grateful mother. PETA rescues thousands of animals every year. Every animal deserves the chance to grow up.
