EVENT HORIZON Movember movie review with Spoilers. The Best Cosmic Horror Movie.
Good morning all.
I know October is over but I had to make this video. I have heard good things about the movie, but I am not a huge fan of space sci-fi movies. I do like Star Trek & Star Wars (pre Woke age)
It was not until I saw a video from @TheCriticalDrinker talking about how great it was as a Space Horror movie.... well then, Space Horror, Cosmic Horror, that is my jam right there.
So I sat through the movie & I expected some Cosmic Horror. DUDE what an insane movie, balls to the wall literal insanity!
This is pretty much Dead Space but in early movie form. This is a 10/10.
It was made in 1997. It had Very limited CGI & 90% Practical effects.
The movie is 1 hour 37 minutes long & 30 minutes in, the plot moves against the cast that from the get go, resent being on this mission since they were pulled from leave.
Without giving too much away, the movie is pretty much Hell in space thanks to parallel realities crashing onto themselves.
That being said, this is my first movie review. I am not a film critic. I rate the movies based on how I feel about them & the little technical knowledge about film that I have.
