Only 70 of these stunning $1 million cars are being made, and this is the first to arrive in America.
Months after setting up shop at a private race track in Miami, RUF Automobiles has finally delivered the first SCR in America.
The RUF SCR is based on the Porsche 911 993 generation, but also not. You see, RUF is a manufacturer and not a tuner. Singer and Gunther Works is in the restomod business, while RUF is actually recognized as an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), and all its creations receive a brand-new VIN to reflect that. To build this SCR, no 993 donor car was required.
But back to this glorious RUF SCR, finished in Ivory White. That 993 lookalike body is made entirely of carbon fiber and is built around RUF's in-house designed carbon fiber monocoque chassis. It's only the second car to use this chassis, with the CTR Anniversary (a throwback to the infamous Yellowbird) being the first.
