This is riding a 81-717/714 metro train on line 2 (30,1km; 18 stations) from Kupchino to Zvezdnaya (3,5 min; 2,3km; this stretch was opened in 1972) on the Saint-Petersburg metro. The Kupchino metro station is a terminus; Interchange to suburban rail, and is one of only 4 metro stations that is located above ground in this system (There used to be a 5th also, the Dachnoye metro station from 1966 until closure in 1977). The Saint-Petersburg metro has 5 lines and 67 stations in total (as of 2016), and the first line was opened in 1955, with some of the most beautiful metro stations in the ex-USSR.
