This is my Colorado 3rd rifle OTC bull elk hunt from November 2023. Conditions were mild with next to zero snow pack, which is typical for us on our side of the state this time of year. As such, the bulls were bachelors up, living high on the mountain range in their sanctuary zones. Steep, dark timber slopes! Found my bull on day 2 and was able to kill him from our glassing knob at 600 yards.
