Yesterday, Prague was covered with snow! I suggest not wasting time and making a walking tour from Prague Castle along Nerudova Street. From there, the snow-covered roofs of the city are so clearly visible.
Prague Castle ( Pražský hrad) is a castle complex in Prague, Czech Republic, built in the 9th century. It is the official office of the President of the Czech Republic. The Castle was a seat of power for the kings of Bohemia, Holy Roman emperors, and presidents of Czechoslovakia. The Bohemian Crown Jewels are kept in a hidden room inside it. According to the Guinness Book of Records, Prague Castle is the largest ancient Castle in the world, occupying an area of almost 70,000 square meters (750,000 square feet), at about 570 meters (1,870 feet) in length and an average of about 130 meters (430 feet) wide. The Castle is among Prague's most visited tourist attractions, attracting over 1.8 million visitors annually.

Nerudova is a street in Malá Strana (Lesser Town) in Prague 1, leading from the upper or northwestern corner of Malostranské náměstí to the west towards Prague Castle. It is one of the most exciting streets in Prague. It is part of the former Royal Route, where the coronation procession of Czech kings crossed the Charles Bridge to the Castle.

The Lesser Town Square (Malostranské náměstí) lies at the heart of the Lesser Town (Malá Strana) and has been the hub of this side of the river in Prague since the 10th century.
The magnificent St. Nicholas Church is the center of the square, the Lesser Town's primary landmark. A mixture of restaurants, quaint old pubs, small shops, and a host of international embassies is housed in the beautiful old Baroque buildings.
