These are all pretty standard questions you’ll hear in the Bar Industry. Some people prefer to make their own Orgeat Recipe. Others like me prefer to buy in Orgeat. But then we need to know what is the Best Orgeat. Well in the video, I’m comparing Monin Orgeat against Giffard Orgeat and the Brand New ODK Orgeat. Which will make great Spiced Rum Cocktails?

I’ve been using Orgeat for years. It’s the standard syrup needed for a lot of Rum Cocktails.
It is essentially an Almond Syrup. Sometimes flavoured with Orange Blossom Water, or Orange Flower Water. And also one of the staple ingredients in the famous Traver Vics Mai Tai Cocktail Recipe. And I have been using Monin Orgeat for most of those years. Why? Because I trust the Brand.

But, is Monin the Best Orgeat Syrup?
