Hello everyone! In today's video, I'll show you how to make your home look expensive with thrifted home goods from Facebook Marketplace. I gave these beautiful solid marble table lamps that I scored for $40 each a mini-revamp and upcycle to fit my home decor aesthetic. You will not believe how luxurious they look! They were so affordable (and quite inexpensive for being solid marble!!!) and would definitely be a budget-friendly addition to any modern space!
I also want to share some of my tried and true tips and tricks worth being mindful of when looking to shop on Facebook Marketplace. If you haven't shopped on Facebook Marketplace before, I like to describe it as a giant virtual thrift store or garage sale. Just like shopping at your local Goodwill or your favorite thrift store, there are so many incredible aesthetically pleasing and affordable home goods and accessories in the second-hand market online in your area!
I upcycled the set of lamps by spray painting each to fit into my space with Rustoleum 2X Ultra Cover Paint + Primer in Flat Black so be sure to keep an open mind and be safe while sourcing your own inexpensive finds.
Thrifting has become one of my favorite ways to cut costs when decorating all while sourcing one-of-a-kind, unique, and affordable decor for the home.
