How to bring your Alocasia Back to life.
This is a step by step process of what I do when my plant has died back due to climate change (dormancy) or due to neglect.
🌿First things first, you need to make sure the Rhizome is still healthy and firm.
🌿Trim back all the old/dried up roots
🌿I like to use LECA on the bottom half of my alocasias which acts as a “self watering method”. I use Nutrient water which provides the Alocasias the necessary nutrients to grow and keeps the substrate consistently moist
🌿My substrait is a well draining Soilless Potting Mix, which i have handcrafted and tested for many different alocasia plants, and they THRIVE in it.
🌿Last key points not mentioned in the video is placing the pot in a warm, bright and humid spot. This will speed up the rooting process.
